    lookslikelibraryscience: Hi! I’m a 25-year-old librarian, working at public library in a New York City suburb. I’m also an in-house librarian for a super cool research management/information literacy platform start-up. I’ve worked as an academic librarian, and an editorial librarian at a national magazine. My smartphone is an extra appendage (seen above) and I’m always reading up on the latest apps and technology. This is what a librarian looks like! I’m cursed that instead of focusing on the person and text, I look at the surroundings to try to figure out where in NYC this was taken. She’s sitting in Bryant Park. That’s a bit of the W.R. Grace Building in the upper left.
